Our Team

Slyce ownership and management team

Jack Bennett

Jack has a long history in Pinellas County. Although born in Michigan, he's spent most of his life in the Tampa Bay area.

Before founding Slyce Pizza Bar, Jack started, and still runs, several construction and development companies that operate in the surrounding counties. Jack is the force behind the Slyce customer experience concept and community outreach strategies.

His hobbies are planning the next big thing for Slyce and spending time with his beautiful wife and two lovely daughters.

Suzanne Brown

General Manager

Suzanne’s experience in the food business is too long to list, but she was heavily involved in the fast paced growth of the Hops restaurant chain before Slyce talked her into running this start-up pizza bar concept.

She thrives on thankless hours and extreme working conditions. She spends her off hours trying to get some sleep at her home near Pass-a-Grille and chasing the American dream.

Christopher Derry

Digital Manager

Founder of Salt Creative, Chris wears many hats behind the digital curtain at Slyce.

Chris is in charge of development and maintenance of the Slyce website. He also manages social media, online communications and creative development.

Chris often works remotely, but if you happen to see him putting in some face-time at Slyce, feel free to say hello. We hear he enjoys Magic Hat #9, the Pear-A-Dice pizza and a good high five.

Visit Chris and tell him Slyce sent ya!

As we begin the process of reopening our doors, we very much look forward to the opportunity to see and serve you. Please remember this is not yet “business as usual”, and dine-in seating is still VERY limited. As we enter this Memorial Day weekend, we ask that you respect the following guidelines.

Please show up with patience and respect for our staff and other guests

No bar service or hanging out at any of the bars

Practice social distancing while awaiting a table or takeout order

Our staff is trying to do the right thing by following CDC recommended guidelines. If you disagree, please consider takeout or delivery services.

If you want to pout and shout, we suggest you stick with takeout.
If you don’t believe in chivalry, we recommend delivery.

If everyone simply follows the “golden rule”, we can all enjoy this weekend while remembering what Memorial Day is really all about. We sincerely thank you all for your patience and understanding.
